CONTEXT
For the launch of a new sim racing system specifically targeting beginners, we produced a product video that's both technically convincing and emotionally engaging.
The goal was to create high-quality visuals worthy of the Fanatec brand despite limited resources – while appealing to new consumer market audiences.
Alongside the main video, we also created a feature video with the (former) CEO, conveying product philosophy and unique features straight from the source.
We shot in a rented bus garage – chosen because there was no budget for a fully equipped studio. That meant: creativity, improvisation – and lots of gray backdrop fabric.
We used over 300m² of fabric, 2x 4kW Arri HMIs, a dolly system, and various light modifiers to showcase the product with minimal reflections, even lighting, and premium quality.
HOW IT ALL CAME TOGETHER
The statement video was quite a marathon: a night shoot, a CEO juggling beard styles and performance pressure – but with a clear vision in mind.
