“IT´S NOT THE CLOTHES WE WEAR. IT`S WHO WE ARE.”

CONTEXT

For the Bugatti Lookbook Fall 2024, we needed to create a visual concept that combines elegance with casualness – classic menswear design in an unexpected setting.

The shoot took place in Cape Town, early morning at Clifton Beach, in golden light and with cinematic intuition.

HOW IT ALL CAME TOGETHER

One day shoot. Light setup. Full responsibility for story, visuals, and rhythm.

The shooting locations ranged from Atlantic beachfront to Michelin-starred restaurants – with one clear goal:
Make the brand's character tangible – quiet, reduced, and visually powerful.
The look was inspired by classic road movies, improvised jazz, and South Africa's rugged coastline.

THE OUTPUT:

  • 3 Instagram Reels (15–30 seconds)

  • Social snippets (story formats, mood-based)

  • Mood photography for Bugatti Social & Web

BEHIND THE
SCENES.

What matters to me:
when I'm forced to get everything out of a single day.

Cape Town was exactly that kind of day. Small budget, high expectations. Lots of improvisation, but with a clear vision.

Trusting intuition – what the location offers, how the light shifts, when a moment emerges – isn't an option on jobs like this, it's the only way. Big sets allow for planning. Small sets require conviction.

And you can feel that conviction in every single shot.
